Websites have been getting unique for the past few years. I have been searching for some new trends and concepts in web design and found a new one page theme that stand out. It works in a way that all of the content was fitted in a single page so you do not have to mess up with dozens of tabs when opening the pages. This one page theme is called Red Sky. Let us dig deeper into this awesome, modern theme and check out the features.

Red Sky is an all in one theme or multi-purpose website template. You can literally use it to create any type of website you want. It may it be a portfolio, company website, personal etc. It includes an improved blog layout, special toggle icons, unlimited colors, 16 color presets, 4 layouts, 4 premium sliders, a shortcode generator, translation ready, demo content and unlimited sidebars. The portfolio page is also enhanced version of a regular portfolio gallery. This makes the theme great for setting up online portfolio. WordPress is one of the most popular platforms for this and there are many cool themes to choose from if Red Sky is not the right option.

I took a quick peek at the demo version and I was amazed to see how this theme was carefully designed. The developers had great attention to detail and crafted the images and typography to a different level.

The top part of this theme uses a modern approach. There are social media icons in the header part, a toggle button, menu items and a large title area that all sports a trendy flat and metro like look and feel. Clicking on one of the menu items would bring you to the lower part of the page instead of linking to a completely new page.

Navigation icons can still be access when you go to lower parts of the page. A toggle button (+) is available to load an ad, images or pretty much anything you like from the navigation – much like a mage menu.

This is a example of the drop down page. Clicking the (x) will close the page.

The portfolio of the theme sports an elegant design with a lot of animated features. Click on one of the items and it will pop out a light box effect for the content. You can place images, media, text and it will be automatically arranged in the gallery.

The About section allows you to put a full width image. You can also add some content and a cool gallery similar to the portfolio page.

The blog section uses an awesome toggled content design. Post excerpts are available upon clicking an item and you can see the full content of the post by clicking on the link going to the post attachment page.
