15+ Examples Of Bokeh Effects in Web Design – Is This Still Trendy?
One of the popular trends of the recent years has been the use of bokeh effects in web design, but is it still cool to use Bokeh in web design?
Basically Bokeh is the effect that makes part of your image blurred or out of focus. The technique is powerful for making an object into focus while still keeping the surrounding background visually appealing.
I have found some examples of bokeh effect in web designs that I want to share with you in this post. Actually it is not easy to find new website with bokeh style used. And it is even harder to find websites that use Bokeh in a truly amazing way! Therefore, I wonder if it is not a popular trend anymore? I still think it is beautiful when bokeh is used with perfection. The technique can be used on different kinds of websites as I try to illustrate in the examples below. The first example in my list (Icon Dock) uses Bokeh in the background of the call to action section. This is a nice way of putting Bokeh effects into use.
I hope you will find the inspiration you came looking for. Please join the conversation and tell me if you still consider using Bokeh in your designs. I will be thrilled if you have good examples that you can share with me.
